Activities at Alltnacriche are governed by SU Scotland’s Safety Management System which responds to the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and Associated Regulations, and in particular the Adventure Activities Licensing Regulations 2004.
Whilst we do all that we can to manage this risk there is still potential for injury and its important that all participants, and where appropriate their parents/carers, are aware of this. We ask for medical information for participants to ensure we support those with particular needs.
Alltnacriche has been granted a licence by the ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES LICENSING AUTHORITY (AALA) to provide adventurous activities for young people. Our three centres at Alltnacriche, Gowanbank and Lendrick Muir are managed by members of the ASSOCIATION OF HEADS OF OUTDOOR EDUCATION CENTRES and registered with a number of local authorities as accredited providers. Confirmation of the licence contents can be checked online at AALA.
We hope your stay is safe, but if first aid is required appropriate staff have undergone basic first aid training, If illness or injury requires medical attention, facilities including an out of hours service are located in Aviemore, approximately five minutes away.
Full liability insurances are held by SU Scotland. We do not cover cancellation or loss of personal property, and would encourage guests to ensure they are appropriately insured.
